People are multifaceted beings. Poets especially. 

'Traits of a poet' is a project created to showcase poets and explore more than just their poetry. It's designed to take a real look at the individuals behind the words, behind a microphone, behind the page.

The project asks poets to write a 'Portrait' poem. That poem will then inspire a series of portraits we'll take of them. It'll also inspire the conversations we have with them as we explore who they are and why they write.
